The European Union has issued guidelines (EU) 2019/2015 concerning energy labels for all kinds of electronic household appliances and lighting. As of September 1st 2021 this has resulted in some changes. Energy labels are now shown on a scale from A to G; energy label A is the most efficient and G the least.
Previously, energy label A++ was the most efficient. Based on their energy consumption and wattage, our lighting products have been given a new energy label. Please note the following! It is possible that a light bulb or luminaire receives a different energy label than it had before. Moreover, if you buy more than one copy of the same product, they may contain both the old and the new energy label. Of course, the performance (economy/lifespan) of the product remains the same.
What does the energy efficiency class mean?
