UGR stands for Unified Glare Rating and indicates the amount of blinding glare emitted by a light and, therefore, its potential to cause visual comfort.
Lighting is often an underestimated component within companies, but deserves more attention. The productivity and well-being of an employee is greatly influenced by lighting. Light should be bright enough for work purposes, but no so bright that it causes discomfort. The UGR value is therefore essential in an office, school or study room for example. In offices/schools the UGR rating should be <19, while in public areas <22 is sufficient.
Here you can find our LED panels with UGR <19 (suitable for offices and schools).
